1Quantitative Aptitude Formulas & Tricks
• Time and Work: If A does a work in X days and B in Y days, together they do it in (X*Y)/(X+Y) days.
• Speed, Distance, Time: Speed = Distance / Time. To convert km/hr to m/s, multiply by 5/18.
• Percentages: Successive discounts of a% and b% = (a + b - ab/100)%.
• Permutation & Combination: nPr = n! / (n-r)! and nCr = n! / (r! * (n-r)!).
2Logical Reasoning Patterns
• Number Series: Always check for prime numbers, squares, cubes, and alternating series first.
• Blood Relations: Draw family trees. Use squares for males, circles for females, and lines for marriages/siblings.
• Syllogism: Always draw Venn diagrams to solve 'All A are B', 'Some A are B' problems accurately.
